PUBG Mobile Ocean Odyssey Is Back: Dates, How to Play, B.Duck Collab
PUBG Mobile’s Ocean Odyssey themed mode has been back since Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 09:00 WIB (10:00 in Malaysia and Singapore) and stays until Wednesday, November 11 at 03:59 WIB (04:59 MYT/SGT). The ocean mode from version 3.3 is playable in Erangel, Ranked mode only. Two days later, on Friday, October 2, the PUBG Mobile x B.Duck collaboration starts with new outfits, an AUG skin, a bathtub buggy and a Knock Out mode in World of Wonder (WOW). All dates below come from the official Ocean Odyssey return announcement, the version 4.6 update notes and videos on the official PUBG MOBILE YouTube channel.

Why Is Ocean Odyssey Back?
Ocean Odyssey first appeared in version 3.3 and returns after taking first place in the Themed Mode Return Vote Event held in June. The version 4.6 notes promised a late September comeback, and the September 29 announcement confirmed the dates. This second run lasts about six weeks.
How to Play Ocean Odyssey in Erangel
The mode adds three kinds of areas to Erangel.
Ocean Palace and the Trident
The Ocean Palace sits underwater beneath a huge statue and is packed with supplies and treasure. The fastest way in is to parachute straight to the ocean surface at the start of the match; you submerge quickly once you hit the water. The Sea Suppressor barrier creates an air pocket so you can move around freely inside. After some time, the Kraken destroys the Sea Suppressor and floods the palace. When that happens, get out through a Portal or the upflow currents.
A Trident waits in the middle of the palace and can be taken once the countdown ends; its location is marked on the mini-map. Entering the Ocean Palace also grants the protection of the Heart of the Sea, a special respawn you can use once per match, which you lose if you leave the palace area. Ocean Palace crates may also hold Respawn Cards, and after using one your teammates can still recall you through the Recall Tower.
Forsaken Ruins and the Sea Treasury
The Forsaken Ruins hold two Ocean Temples sealed by water veils; find the switches to open them. Beneath the ruins is the Sea Treasury: light every pillar at its entrance, grab the treasure, then take the Portal that sends you into the sky inside the Playzone so you can glide anywhere. The area also has blasting currents that carry you upward and a Mirage Tower for rotating. In some spots a whale leaps through the sky and leaves a water orb behind; step in to ride the Whale Escape Pod.
Water Prisms
Water Prisms are scattered across the map and wrapped in a barrier. Walk up to break it, then open the crate inside.

Ocean Odyssey Tips for Ranked
- Pick your route on the plane. If you want the Trident, drop into the sea near the giant statue right away. If you prefer a safer start, Water Prisms and the Forsaken Ruins are good loot alternatives.
- Watch the Sea Suppressor. Once the Kraken attacks, stop looting and head for a Portal or an upflow current.
- Do not leave the palace too early if you still want the Heart of the Sea respawn, since the protection disappears when you leave the area.
- Save the Whale Escape Pod or Gleaming Stingray for late rotations. Both move your squad quickly as the zone shrinks. Remember that Stingray passengers cannot shoot underwater.
PUBG Mobile x B.Duck Collab Starts October 2
The yellow B.Duck is back in PUBG Mobile. The thumbnail of the official video B.Duck x PUBG MOBILE Items Available on Oct 2 reads “Event Period: 10/2-11/1”, which means October 2 to November 1, 2026. Items shown in the video:
- B.Duck Summer Splash Set and B.Duck Duck Print Set (a duck-print raincoat)
- B.Duck Playful Soaker-AUG, an AUG skin styled like a water gun
- B.Duck Tub Buggy, a buggy shaped like a bubble bath
- B.Duck Quacky Duckling Grenade skin and B.Duck Shocked Duck Ornament
- A level 3 B.Duck backpack and helmet
- Two Home decorations: a yellow duck sofa and an inflatable duck
The video ends with “All outfits and items obtainable in this event”, but it does not explain the event mechanics or the UC cost yet. Open the event tab on October 2 before deciding how much UC to set aside. This is not the first team-up either: PUBG Mobile ran a B.Duck World Tour event in March 2021.
B.Duck Knock Out Mode in World of Wonder
There is also a B.Duck Knock Out mode in WOW, found with Map ID 29753458. According to the official gameplay video, you play as a duck on an ice-themed arena: aim your collision direction, charge collision force from level 1 to 10, bump other players off, and survive to the end. WOW creators have also had B.Duck assets in the editor since version 4.6, including B.Duck transformations, an inflatable hammer and a slide.
