The Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN collab “Chapter One: Nine Tails Strikes” is back from September 16 to October 15, 2026, alongside the OB55 patch. What’s genuinely new this time: a Hinata Hyuga bundle (her first appearance in Free Fire), a Pick-One Grand Prize that lets you choose one free bundle between Hinata and Jiraiya, the Sharingan: Control skill for taking command of the Nine Tails, the new 8 Trigrams Palm Rotation ninjutsu, and a Ninja Academy in the Hidden Leaf Village. Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden 2026: Dates and What’s Included
- Event period: September 16 to October 15, 2026, in Free Fire and Free Fire MAX.
- OB55 patch: released September 16; the official patch notes were published September 10.
- Returning: the Nine Tails event on Bermuda, the Hidden Leaf Village (now a default cabin on every map), the six original ninjutsu, shuriken and kunai as secondary weapons, and ninja-themed Clash Squad.
- New: Sharingan: Control, 8 Trigrams Palm Rotation, the Ninja Academy, Revival Points styled after the Reanimation Jutsu, Summon Gamakichi scrolls, plus “Blue Bird” playing during the drop and the NARUTO Main Theme in the lobby.
How to Get the Hinata or Jiraiya Bundle for Free (Pick-One Grand Prize)
This is the first time Free Fire has used a pick-one system for the grand prize. Here’s how it works:
- Log in during the event and open the Naruto Shippuden (Nine Tails Strikes) event tab.
- Complete daily missions in Battle Royale or Clash Squad to fill your progress.
- Once the missions are done, open the Pick-One Grand Prize page and choose the Hinata Bundle (new) or the Jiraiya Bundle (returning from the earlier collab).
- The bundle goes to your inbox after you confirm your choice.
Only one is free. Garena hasn’t confirmed whether the bundle you skip will be available another way, so check the event tab and the store before locking in. Our take: pick Hinata if you’re a collector, since this is her debut and debut items usually aren’t rerun quickly; pick Jiraiya if you missed Chapter One last year.
Other official rewards: Tsunade’s Cloak, Gaara’s Tattoo Facepaint, Kakashi’s ANBU Black Ops Mask and the Froggy Wallet elimination crate. The Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura bundles from the earlier collab are also back during the event. The in-game event calendar (for example login missions for the Hinata voice pack, or the Team 7 Assemble event at the end of September) can differ between servers, so treat the event tab as your main reference.
Sharingan: Control and the Nine Tails
At the start of a match, the Nine Tails can trigger one of three events: it hits the plane so every player is forced to drop after a countdown, it destroys the Arsenal so high-tier loot can be taken without a key, or it slams the ground and leaves a crater full of loot (the last two only on Bermuda).
The new part comes mid-match: a Sharingan: Control item appears on the map. Whoever picks it up can choose a target area, and after a 5-second warning the Nine Tails fires a Tailed Beast Bomb for 60 blast damage in a 100 m radius. It then leaves 8 to 10 fire spots with a 4 m radius for 5 to 10 seconds, dealing 5 damage every 0.5 seconds, plus 1 damage per second for 2 seconds after you step out of the fire.
In the late game, aim it at the side of the zone where an enemy squad is holding a building; the fire spots force them to move. On the other side, as soon as you see the warning marker, move. Five seconds is enough if you don’t hesitate.
Ninjutsu and Their Effects

Shuriken (light for close range, heavy for mid range) and elemental kunai (Fiery, Lightning, Wind) are back as secondary weapons. In Clash Squad, ninjutsu and kunai are sold in the CS Store, the first-round pistol is replaced by shuriken, the Cyber Airdrop becomes a Ninjutsu Scroll Airdrop, and the Hidden Leaf Village joins the map pool.
Ninja Academy, Revival Points and Gamakichi
- The Ninja Academy is added to the Hidden Leaf Village. The swing in front of it can be used before a match for a 5% movement speed buff (the patch notes call it permanent).
- Revival Points use the Reanimation Jutsu look: fallen teammates rise from a stone coffin on the spot instead of parachuting back in, with brief protection and revival gear.
- Summon Gamakichi scrolls are scattered across the map; interacting with one gives loot.
Other Key Changes in OB55
- Kenta fully reworked: releases a tornado that passes through Gloo Walls for 8 seconds (25 damage); press the skill again to teleport to the tornado and get a 5-second shield with 20% damage reduction. 45-second cooldown.
- Morse nerfed: aim assist range while stealthed goes from 4 m to 12 m, and maximum stealth duration from 15 to 13 seconds. Luna’s rate of fire bonus drops from 8% to 5%. Wukong’s cooldown goes from 90 to 75 seconds. Super Bonfire in the Tactical Market is also reduced.
- Four new weapons on October 1 with the next Clash Squad season: M7 (an AR with upward recoil), Skorp (SMG), RPK (LMG) and Hawk (a two-round sniper with high burst). In the CS Store, the M7 costs 1,600 coins and the Hawk 1,700 coins.
- Devices are now split into active and passive, and you can carry one of each.
- Airdrops are reworked: regular airdrops start around second 160 (4 per match), with two Defense Airdrops and one Ultra Airdrop landing at second 410. The early solo revival window is cut from 540 to 410 seconds.
