Days two and three of VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai (Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26) produced four opening-match winners in Groups D and B: NRG beat Nongshim RedForce 2-0, Karmine Corp beat Xi Lai Gaming 2-0, Team Vitality beat Global Esports 2-1, and LOUD beat EDward Gaming 2-0. In a rematch of the Masters Santiago 2026 upper final, which Nongshim won 2-0 on their way to the title, the defending world champions got their revenge. On Lotus, NRG won both pistol rounds and led 8-4 at the half, with mada (Raze) posting 22 kills and a 1.77 VLR rating on the map. On Nongshim’s Split pick, NRG led 9-3 at the break; Nongshim took the second pistol and clawed back to 10-12, but NRG closed it 13-10.

The EMEA Stage 2 champions opened both maps with eight straight rounds. Sunset was 10-2 at the half. On XLG’s Abyss pick, a 9-3 KC lead shrank to 9-6 before KC won the last four rounds. N4RRATE was the standout: 25/7/5 on Yoru on Abyss and 39/19/11 for the series.

The only three-map series of days two and three. Global Esports arrived as Pacific Stage 2 champions (3-2 over Nongshim in the grand final), while Vitality qualified on points.
Abyss. Vitality went 10-4 up, GE won five rounds in a row to make it 9-10, and Vitality closed 13-10.
Ascent. GE led 7-5 at the half and won 13-9. PatMen (Omen) went 25/15/9 with a 311 ACS, including a clutch in round 2. For Vitality, Jamppi hit an ace in round 19.
Summit. Level at 6-6 at the half. Vitality reached 12-8, GE answered with three straight rounds to make it 11-12, but Vitality won round 24 to take it 13-11 without overtime. xavi8k (Astra) had 23 kills on the map.
Jamppi led the series with 60 kills. GE’s Filipino duo went 54/49/26 (xavi8k) and 49/52/28 (PatMen).

EDG won the opening pistol on their own Lotus pick, but tkzin (Neon) turned the map with two first-half aces, and LOUD led 9-3 at the break. His third ace came in the last round of the first half on Summit, putting LOUD 8-4 up. tkzin finished the series 47/24/7 with a 1.51 VLR rating.
