Free Fire Prime Diamonds: How to Claim September Savings on October 1
If you spent Diamonds in Free Fire during September 2026, part of that value comes back as Prime Diamonds, which unlock on Thursday, October 1, 2026. There is one condition: top up any amount of Diamonds during October. Prime Diamonds work only in Luck Royale and the Booyah Pass, and they expire at the end of the claim month. Garena introduced the system in the official OB55 patch notes and, on September 23, posted a Prime Diamond introduction video on the official Free Fire channel that walks through the menu screen by screen.
What Are Prime Diamonds?
Prime Diamonds are a new feature inside the Prime System. Prime itself arrived in 2025 with the OB49 update: you join by obtaining 100 Diamonds, there are 8 Prime Levels, and 1 Diamond equals 1 Prime Point. Prime Levels unlock perks such as a Prime badge, an avatar frame and a colored nickname. If you earn no Prime Points at all in a month, your level drops by 1 on the first day of the next month.
Prime Diamonds sit on top of that system. Garena sums them up in three rules:
- Spending Diamonds in one month earns Prime Diamonds that can be claimed the following month.
- A top up of any amount during the following month unlocks all the Prime Diamonds you earned.
- Prime Diamonds are valid only during the claim month and expire at the end of it.
The tagline on the official thumbnail says it in five words: Spend now, claim next month.
The First Cycle: Spend in September, Claim in October

OB55 went live on September 16. Garena has not said whether Diamonds spent before that date count, so the September Spending figure in your Prime menu is the number to trust. Garena also has not published the exact time the month rolls over, so do not leave it to the last day.
How to Claim Prime Diamonds
These steps follow the screens shown in Garena’s official video:
- Open the Prime menu from the Prime icon at the top of the lobby.
- Go to the Prime Diamond tab, below Overview, Privileges, Leaderboard and Gifts. It shows a savings jar with your Current Savings and a September Spending bar.
- From October 1, tap Claim. If you have not topped up in October yet, a prompt asks you to gain at least 1 Diamond to unlock and claim, with a Top Up button.
- Top up any amount. The on-screen message reads “Top up any amount to unlock all Prime Diamonds earned last month”.
- Tap Claim again. The Sept Savings Received screen shows your Prime Diamond amount, the expiry time and a note that they can be used only in Luck Royale and the Booyah Pass.
In the video, the September Spending bar has several milestones, shown at 100, 300, 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000 Diamonds, and each milestone you reach adds to your savings. Garena has not published a text table of the reward per milestone, so check the exact amounts in the Prime Diamond tab on your own account.
Where Can You Use Them?
Only in two places: Luck Royale and the Booyah Pass. The official video shows Prime Diamonds being used to buy the Booyah Pass and to spin the Evo Vault, one of the Luck Royale draws.
Garena does not list the Store or other events as places to use them, so plan to spend them on a Booyah Pass or a Luck Royale you actually want in October.
Tips to Keep Your Savings From Expiring
- Top up in October, not now. The rule is a top up during the claim month. A top up on September 28 to 30 adds Diamonds to your balance, but Garena does not say it unlocks September savings.
- A small top up is enough. The patch notes say “any amount”, and the in-game prompt only asks for 1 Diamond. As a bonus, those Diamonds also count as October Prime Points, which keeps your Prime Level from dropping at the start of November.
- Check the status once the Diamonds arrive. The video shows the in-game Top Up menu, and Garena does not specify which top up channels count. If you top up with your Player ID outside the game, reopen the Prime Diamond tab after the Diamonds land and make sure the Claim button is active.
- Spend them before October ends. Prime Diamonds are valid only in the claim month, so September savings you have not used by the end of October are gone.
- Watch your September Spending before the month turns. Diamonds you spend until the end of September count toward this month, including on live events such as the Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden collaboration, which runs until October 15.
Other OB55 Changes for Prime Players
The same patch touches Prime players in two other ways:
- The Fitting Room has been removed, along with the extra outfit slot that Prime provided.
- The Vault has been updated: selected items are equipped only after you tap Equip, the Fashion tab has a search bar, and you can change your outfit during matchmaking.
