Why MLBB Diamonds Must Match Your Account Region
Region is part of your account data. In its Game Account Cancellation Agreement, Moonton lists region as one of a character’s data fields, next to the avatar, nickname, battle history, heroes and skins. Moonton notices also distinguish characters by the region they were created in, such as the “character created in the US region” requirement in the 2025 US app migration notice.

Even the same total can be split differently. 28 Diamonds on the regular page is 25 + 3 Bonus, while on the Malaysia page it is 26 + 2 Bonus. 716 Diamonds is 637 + 79 Bonus on the regular page and 633 + 83 Bonus on the Malaysia page. Same number, different pack, and it will not reach your account.
How to Confirm Your MLBB Account Is in the Malaysia or Philippines Region
As of October 25, 2026, the notices and documents on the official Mobile Legends website do not explain how to view your account region in game, how the region is assigned, or how to change it. Moonton also does not publish a list of Zone IDs by country, so the Zone ID cannot be used to guess the region.
What you can rely on:
- A nickname check is not a region check. The top up form shows the nickname to confirm the User ID and Zone ID belong to the right account. It does not show the region, so a matching nickname proves nothing about it.
