Hush, the telekinetic Duelist from Guangdong, China, is scheduled to join VALORANT on Tuesday, 27 October 2026 with patch 13.09. Dexerto, Insider Gaming, Shacknews, and the Philippine daily Philstar all report that date after Riot revealed Hush at Champions Shanghai on 18 October. As of Saturday afternoon, 24 October, Riot itself only says “Available in Season 26 // ACT VI” in the official trailer and has not posted a date or a Hush agent page on playvalorant.com. One thing is already settled by Riot’s own rules: for the first 28 days, a new agent can only be unlocked through the Agent Recruitment Event, VP, or Xbox Game Pass.

Some outlets say Hush arrives “with the launch of Act 6”. That is not quite right: the patch 13.08 notes published on 13 October already kicked off Act 6. Hush lands in the middle of Act VI, two weeks after it began.
For timing, the recent patch notes give a rough reference. Notes for 13.04, 13.05, 13.06, and 13.08 were all published on a Tuesday at 20:00 WIB (21:00 in Malaysia and Singapore). Riot has not confirmed a time for 13.09, and patches do not always reach every region on the same day. If Hush is not in your Agents menu on the evening of 27 October, wait for the official 13.09 notes before trusting other claims.
How to Unlock Hush in VALORANT

Riot has not announced the Recruitment Event XP target or a VP price specific to Hush, so check the numbers in the Agents menu once the patch is live. If you do not want to grind XP and are not on Game Pass, VP is the only instant route. Extra Details from Riot’s Dev Diary
The Hush Dev Diaries video, released on 19 October, adds details the trailer does not show:
- A passive with a cooldown. Telekinesis is the first passive in VALORANT with a cooldown. Its indicator sits on the top HUD, and objects you can grab glow when it is ready.
- Q and E can be primed together. Flashbulb and Displacement can both be prepped at once and then thrown in different ways. The design team calls this redirectable throwing a new mechanic for VALORANT.
- Built for a high skill ceiling. Riot’s UX designer deliberately kept redirect cues minimal so there is room to master them.
Riot has not released credit costs, effect durations, cooldowns, or ultimate points. The Hush agent page on playvalorant.com was also not live as of 24 October.
Hush’s Design and Personality
Hush is a Cantonese-speaking agent. Riot’s narrative writer describes her as eccentric, smart, and “the weird one in the friend group” who is still accepted as she is. Her look is built around telekinesis: floating bracelet beads, a flash grenade hovering at her thigh instead of sitting in a holster, brain-fold patterns on her outfit, and a small ghost keychain on her belt. Even her skirt length and flare were tuned to keep the hitbox clean.
The “RISE AND FALL” trailer (Chinese title 一念起落) uses Cantonese dialogue and the song “It’s You” by Karencici.
