How to Top Up Valorant Points with Your Riot ID and Tagline
To top up VALORANT Points (VP), all you need is your full Riot ID with the tagline, such as YourName#1234. No password, no login. The rule people often miss: pick the store page that matches your account’s country. It’s timely too, as the VALORANT Champions 2026 playoffs in Shanghai run from October 7 to 18 and the Champions 2026 “Frag or Die” bundle has been in the Store since September 22. Riot ID and Tagline: What Goes in the Top Up Field?
According to the Riot ID FAQ, your Riot ID is your universal ID across all Riot games, and it has two parts. Riot’s own example: in EarlGreyTeemo#sip, the Game Name is EarlGreyTeemo and the tagline is #sip.

Since Game Names aren’t unique, only the name plus tagline identifies your account, so a top up form needs both. Your Riot ID is also not your login name. Your username and password are only for signing in, and Riot asks you never to share your password, email or date of birth.
How to find your Riot ID in Valorant
- Open account.riotgames.com in a browser and sign in.
- The first box on the account page shows your Riot ID and tagline. You can change both in the same box.
- Copy it in full with the hash, with no space before or after the #.

Check Your Account Region Before a Valorant Top Up
The VALORANT Account Transfer FAQ explains that your Region of Residence is based on your physical location when you created the account. It determines your payment options and currency, default language, and the shard you play on. Players in Southeast Asia are on the Southeast Asia/Asia-Pacific (AP) shard.
What that means for a top up:
- Use the store for your account’s country. The Malaysia and Philippines VP pages say their VP is only for accounts in that region. Indonesian accounts use the Indonesia page.
- You can’t switch regions freely. Riot only allows changes that match your physical location and warns against playing through a VPN.
- Moving region has a cost. Current ranked season progress, match history and purchase history are erased, and another transfer is blocked for 90 days.
How to Top Up VP with Your Riot ID
On a top up page
On the ItemGame Valorant Points page for Indonesia:
- Choose a VP amount.
- Enter your full Riot ID with the tagline in the User ID field.
- Choose a payment method: QRIS, e-wallets (DANA, OVO, ShopeePay, LinkAja), bank virtual accounts, or Indomaret and Alfamart.
- Enter an email for the invoice and pay. VP is processed automatically once the payment is confirmed.
Malaysian accounts use the Valorant Malaysia page, which takes DuitNow QR, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Boost, GrabPay, ShopeePay and cash at 7-Eleven.
In the client Store
Open the Store, go to the VP purchase page and pick a pack. According to Riot Support, the client shows every payment method available to your account’s region.
Match Your VP Pack to the Skin Price
As of October 8, 2026, the Indonesia page sells 27 amounts from 475 to 22,000 VP, including combined amounts such as 1,475 and 2,525 VP. The Malaysia and Philippines pages sell six: 475, 1,000, 2,050, 3,650, 5,350 and 11,000 VP.

Ultra and Exclusive Edition prices vary, so check the Store. Battlepass levels cost 300 VP each, for Premium Battlepass owners only. Individual Store skins rotate every 24 hours. Kingdom Credits can’t be bought with money; Radianite Points are bought with VP.
The Champions 2026 bundle is a Limited Edition
Riot’s official trailer describes “Frag or Die” as a new Phantom and a fan melee with a dynamic side-swap effect, available in the Store from September 22. Riot classes Champions bundles as Limited Edition: once they leave the Store, they don’t return to the Rotating Store or the Night Market. Sending VP or a Bundle to a Friend
There are two ways. The first is to top up with your friend’s Riot ID, since VP goes to whichever Riot ID is entered. The second is official gifting. Requirements from Gifting in VALORANT:
- The sender’s account must be at least level 15, both players must have been friends for at least one week, and neither can be serving a long or permanent ban.
- You can send up to 10 gifts per day, and you can’t send content the recipient already owns.
- You can’t send VP from your current balance. A VP gift means buying a new VP pack for your friend, and it’s only available on PC.
- Both players must be on the same shard. Players in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam can only send and receive gifts with players in those four countries.
To send a VP gift: open the VP purchase page, select the Gift icon next to a pack, choose the recipient, confirm and pay. Store bundles and Esports bundles can also be sent with the GIFT button. A gift that is rejected, or not accepted within 60 days, is refunded to the sender.
Purchase History and VP Refund Rules
You can check your account’s VP purchase history on Riot Support’s Checking Your Purchase History page after signing in. VALORANT’s refund rules:
- Only unused content and unused VP bought in the last 14 days can be refunded. A skin counts as used once you reach a match loading screen with it equipped.
- Not refundable: bundles, Agents, the Premium Battlepass and its levels, Radianite Points, Kingdom Credits purchases, and skins that have been used or upgraded.
- A pending gift your friend hasn’t accepted blocks all refunds on your account.
For a website top up, keep your invoice number. If the order shows as successful but your VP hasn’t arrived, restart the client and contact support with that number. Your Riot ID also works for League of Legends PC, covered in our guide to buying LoL RP on PC.
