Marvel Rivals Endgame Event Starts October 24: Free Captain America
Marvel Rivals’ Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Endgame mode starts on Saturday, 24 October 2026 by UTC date, two days later than the 22 October date NetEase gave in Dev Vision Vol. 22 in early October. It is a large PvE mode: 50 players gather in the ruins of the Avengers Compound to take on Thanos and his army. Players who join the event can earn the Captain America: The Winter Soldier costume for free, plus other rewards that have not been listed yet. The new date appears in the official Endgame mode trailer, released on Tuesday, 20 October at 22:00 WIB (23:00 in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines). One day before the mode opens, three new costumes arrive for Black Cat, Elsa Bloodstone, and Jeff the Land Shark.

NetEase only says “October 24 UTC” with no start hour. Counting from the start of that UTC date, the earliest the mode can open is Saturday, 24 October at 07:00 WIB (08:00 in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines). NetEase has not explained the move from 22 October. Night of Illusions still uses the date from the same Dev Vision, so watch for the next official announcement. As of midday Wednesday, 21 October, this week’s patch notes were not yet up on the official site or on Steam.
What Is the Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Endgame Mode?
In Dev Vision Vol. 22, NetEase calls Endgame a massive PvE mode. Fifty players form one army of heroes and face Thanos and his forces head-on in the ruins of the Avengers Compound. The mode recreates moments from the Avengers: Endgame film, “from ‘I am inevitable’ to ‘I am Iron Man’”. The trailer description calls it “the final stand” and promises interactive activities in Times Square during the event.
The trailer runs about 1 minute 49 seconds. It shows portals opening across a desert battlefield, dozens of heroes charging together, Iron Man gameplay against waves of enemies, and Iron Man wearing a gauntlet set with the Infinity Stones. Thanos appears in gold armor with a huge sword.
A note for console players: the closing card of the Endgame trailer lists Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, and PS5. PS4 is not mentioned. The previous PvE mode, Avengers: Age of Ultron, was not available on PS4 according to the 30 July 2026 patch notes. NetEase has said nothing yet about Endgame on PS4.
How to Get the Free Captain America Costume: The Winter Soldier
In a post on the official Marvel Rivals X account on 20 October at 23:00 WIB, NetEase wrote that players can “claim your free Captain America costume by participating in the epic Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Endgame event”, available from 24 October UTC. The card in the video names the costume Captain America: The Winter Soldier, inspired by the 2014 Marvel Studios film of the same name.
In the video, the costume is a dark blue suit with a silver star on the chest, a helmet marked with the letter A, and the star shield. Captain America also rides a motorcycle along a foggy overpass. The end text reads “free Captain America costume and more”, so there are other rewards besides the costume. The number of missions, the requirements, and the full reward list have not been announced.
This is the second free MCU costume in Season 10.5. The first is Thor: The Avengers from the Infinity Finale season event, which runs until Thursday, 10 December 2026 at 16:00 WIB.
New Costumes on 23 October: Black Cat, Elsa Bloodstone, and Jeff
Three costumes arrive on Friday, 23 October 2026 at 09:00 WIB (10:00 in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines; 22 October at 7 PM Pacific), according to NetEase’s official poster.

Black Cat’s Fatal Weaver comes with a cat-eared witch hat, purple hair, and giant scissors. Elsa Bloodstone’s Gothic Huntress has a wide black hat, a black coat lined in red, and white hair. NetEase says both are “appearing for the first time in Marvel Rivals Season 10”. Sharknos is a Thanos-style Jeff: purple skin, a gold helmet, and a gauntlet set with Infinity Stones. Do not mix it up with Endgame Encore. That was a store event from 28 August to 9 October 2026 celebrating the re-release of the Avengers: Endgame film, with an Infinity Saga store tab and an Encore Coupon for 20% off MCU costume bundles. It has ended and is not the same as the 24 October Endgame mode.
Lattice and Units for New Costumes
The Captain America costume from the Endgame event is free, so no purchase is needed. For store costumes, NetEase’s monetization dev talk explains that bundles are priced in Units, which can be exchanged from Lattice at a 1:1 ratio or earned for free in limited amounts from the Battle Pass, achievements, and events.
