CODM Season 9 2026 Release Date: Vampires vs Werewolves and What's New
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 2026 is called Vampires vs Werewolves, and it launches on the global version on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 5 PM PT, which is Thursday, October 15 at 07:00 WIB (08:00 in Malaysia and Singapore). Activision confirmed the date in the official Call of Duty blog on October 7. It is the first CODM season whose theme and part of the Battle Pass skins were chosen by player vote. The headline content: the Fang Wars faction event, the Leader’s Kill Confirmed mode, the new Grav assault rifle on the free Battle Pass track, and a Halloween Sale from October 28 to November 3. Garena servers may differ: as of October 8, 2026, 09:00 WIB, the official Garena CODM Indonesia YouTube channel had no Season 9 date yet.

Garena runs the same seasons (Take Your Heart, Terminated, and Against All Fate all appeared on the official Garena CODM Indonesia channel), but not always on the same day. Season 6 began on July 2, 2026 on both versions, while Season 8 on Garena started on September 11, a day after the global launch (September 10, 07:00 WIB). On a Garena server, Season 9 may open a day later, so watch the in-game announcements.
From Season 9, the in-game Download Manager also lets you download seasonal update content ahead of time, so you wait less once a new season goes live.
The First Community-Voted Season in CODM
The theme came out of the “Your Season, Your Vote” program. In October 2025, the official CODM account on X pitched it, a power struggle between genetically enhanced cyber-vampires and Were-beasts, as one of three candidate themes. After it won, players voted in February 2026 on vampire and werewolf Operator skin concepts (three options each) for the Premium Battle Pass. The skin vote closed on March 16, 2026 at 10 AM PT (March 17, 00:00 WIB).
The winners are in the Season 9 Premium Pass: the Minotaur Pack Commander Operator skin as the werewolf design winner and Sparrowhawk Moonlight Vengeance as the vampire design winner, plus the player-voted CX9 Wolven Moonrise (SMG) and 3-Line Rifle Cantus Rubra (sniper rifle) blueprints. The official Season 9 trailer (October 7) shows the two factions clashing.

Call of the Dead: Collect Howlbones
This Día de Muertos event has you collect Howlbones to spend in the Event Store. Rewards include the Contact Grenade Calaverita, Cluster Grenade Pan de Muerto, a weapon charm, an emote, the Día de Muertos calling card, plus avatars, sprays, stickers, and a frame. Collect 100 Howlbones and the K9-Unit Fantasma Operator Skill skin unlocks automatically. The skin sends a pack of skeletal dogs at your enemies.
New Mode Leader’s Kill Confirmed and Returning Modes
Leader’s Kill Confirmed is a twist on Kill Confirmed. Each team has one Leader, a mech-equipped Operator whose position is visible to both teams. When the Leader goes down, they drop a dog tag worth far more points, and the Leader role passes to a teammate. Regular Operators gain special abilities that grow over the match. Your team has to balance guarding its Leader, hunting the enemy one, and collecting tags.

- Shoryu and Hadoken, two modes from the Street Fighter 6 collaboration.
- Honkai: Gleaming Front from the Honkai Impact 3rd collaboration, with small improvements and tweaks.
- Attack of the Undead on Haunted Hacienda and Haunted Standoff. Both Halloween maps also get their own 24/7 playlists at different points of the season.
