Zilong Create Skin: The Designer and MLBB’s Project Create History
In the titles of official MLBB videos, the “Project Create Skin” label goes to Best Design winners from the Skin Design Contest, skins that started as player designs. The official Zilong “Ascendant of Flame” video shows the text “The Sixth Skin Design Contest, Best Design Award” and credits the player “chomreun”. The record on the official channel:

The closest match is Kadita: the Kadita “Heart of the Sea” video also promised 50% off for the first 14 days, and Moonton said that skin would be in the Shop. For Zilong, the video and description do not mention the Shop, an event, or a skin tier, so do not assume the purchase method is identical.
Do not confuse it with the Global Skin Design Contest 2026, which Moonton launched on May 18, 2026 with submissions until June 21, 2026 and a USD 49,000 prize pool. That contest asks for a skin series covering five heroes from five lanes. The Zilong video only says “The Sixth Skin Design Contest” with no year, and Moonton has not linked this skin to the 2026 contest.
Zilong Ascendant of Flame Look and Skill Effects
The video opens with a CG of Zilong floating in a blaze before a giant fire phoenix appears. In the artwork, Zilong wears a dark purple and red robe with golden flame patterns, red and orange phoenix feathers on the shoulders, a pink sash, and a rainbow halo behind his head. His spear is gold with a purple gem at the base of the blade.

Where Zilong Stands Before the Skin Arrives
On December 13, 2025, the official “[Zilong] Enhancements” video said his passive can now be stacked through skills, early-game damage on basic attacks and passive-enhanced basic attacks went up significantly, and Spear Strike no longer triggers an immediate basic attack after casting.
Patch notes 2.2.16 (September 16, 2026) then toned down Classic Zilong, the old version of Zilong referenced in an official video on September 3, 2026 (“Miss the old Vexana, Akai, Chou, Zilong, or Yi Sun-shin?”). Moonton said Classic Zilong was too strong, even hard to handle in Classic mode. His passive-enhanced basic attack damage dropped from 450 (+150% Total Physical Attack) to 360 (+120% Total Physical Attack), and his ultimate cooldown range moved from 35 to 27 seconds to a longer 43 to 35 seconds. Whether the new skin also applies to Classic Zilong has not been explained.

The 2026 MY HERO Creation Contest runs from October 9 to November 20, 2026. According to the official event guide video, posted October 11 at 19:00 WIB:
