HoK New Skins Oct 9: Sima Yi Myths Xiangliu and Dolia Myth Jiaoren

Two new Honor of Kings skins from the Shan Hai City of Wonders theme arrive on Friday, October 9, 2026: Myths: Xiangliu for Sima Yi and Myth: Jiaoren for Dolia. Both are Limited skins sold directly in the Shop. During the first week they carry a discounted price of 1,350 Tokens for Sima Yi and 710 Tokens for Dolia, according to the official showcase videos for Sima Yi and Dolia posted on the Honor of Kings channel on October 5 and 6. As of Wednesday midday, October 7 (WIB), the release time and the regular price after week one have not been announced. HoK New Skins Release Date and Price

If you want both at the first-week price, you need 2,060 Tokens in total. The official announcements do not mention a free route, a draw, or a redemption event for these two skins, only a direct Shop purchase. One note on naming: the title and description of the Dolia video say “Myth: Jiaoren”, while the global thumbnail says “Myths: Jiaoren”, so the spelling in the Shop may differ slightly.

Sima Yi Myths: Xiangliu: Skill Effects, Recall and Custom Buttons

Xiangliu is a venomous nine-headed snake monster that brings floods in Chinese mythology, called Xiangyao in the Classic of Mountains and Seas (Shan Hai Jing). The theme is easy to spot: Sima Yi wears a long black coat with gold and teal accents, surrounded by translucent blue serpent heads.

The 3-minute-7-second showcase walks through the skin section by section:

• Hall animation, looping standby emote and a close-up in the lobby.
• Basic attack and four skills: Quiet Whispers, Shadow Stings, Barren Lands and Death Descends, with effects dominated by blue serpent shapes and swirls.
• Moving emote and standby action.
• Recall effect: antique shelves and cabinets appear around Sima Yi before he vanishes into a vortex, matching the antique shop story in the CG.
• Custom Buttons, meaning skill buttons themed to this skin on the match screen.

Both showcase videos carry a note that the footage was recorded during development, so in-game details may change slightly.

Dolia Myth: Jiaoren: A Mermaid From Shan Hai Legend

Jiaoren are merfolk from ancient Chinese legend who live in the South Sea, and their tears are said to turn into pearls. That fits Dolia, who is a merfolk in official HoK lore and has a Mermaid form in her kit.

The Dolia showcase runs 48 seconds. What it shows:

• Braided silver hair, fin-like ornaments near her ears, and a lilac robe with pale green accents.
• A glowing pearl in her hand and purple petals drifting through almost every effect.
• Purple water circles with petals when she casts skills, plus a silver mermaid tail when she swims in the river.

At 710 Tokens in the first week, the Dolia skin costs roughly half of Sima Yi Myths: Xiangliu.

The Shan Hai City of Wonders CG Story

The Shan Hai City of Wonders CG Preview went live on October 4. Its description says the city bustles with life while shadows stir beneath the surface. An unexpected guest arrives at Xiangliu’s Jiushan Antique Shop, old rivalries resurface, and their exchange points to a darker threat: mutated demon cores and returning corruption.

The CG ends with the line “City of Wonders Adventure: The adventure is about to begin”, with no date or event details. Whether Shan Hai City of Wonders also brings a story event or free rewards is still unconfirmed.

Shan Hai Skin Series in HoK Global

Shan Hai (山海) means “mountains and seas”. The series first reached HoK global between December 2024 and January 2025 with five skins:

Back then, Yaria could be won for free through an event. On December 26, 2025, HoK announced that all five skins were back for a limited time, along with an event to exchange Shan Hai Waves Yaria for free. Myths: Xiangliu and Myth: Jiaoren are the next additions to the theme. On the official Chinese Honor of Kings site (pvp.qq.com), the same artwork is listed as 九山相柳 for Sima Yi and 幻珠鲛人 for Dolia.
