An EA SPORTS FC Mobile top up of FC Points or Silver only needs your UID, the User ID of your account. According to EA’s official help pages, the UID sits in the top-right corner of the Settings screen (the cogwheel icon on the home screen), right after the letters UID. No password, email or verification code is needed. FC Points or Silver bought outside the game are sent to your game inbox, so open the inbox if your balance has not changed. Based on EA’s help pages and the store’s product pages, checked as of 5 November 2026.

How to Find Your FC Mobile UID, According to EA

EA calls the UID your User ID. EA’s official guide has two core steps, shown here with the preparation and saving steps added:

  1. Open FC Mobile and make sure the account you are signed in to is the one you want to top up.
  2. On the home screen, select the Settings (cogwheel) icon.
  3. Look at the top-right corner. The string of digits after UID is your User ID.
  4. Take a screenshot or write it down, then paste it into the User ID field when you top up.

EA recommends saving it as a screenshot: support asks for the UID if you are locked out or lose your device, and says it cannot find your account without it. For other games such as MLBB, Free Fire and PUBG Mobile, see our guide on finding your user ID and server before a top up.

Your UID Is Not Your Username

The username on your Player Profile can be changed with a Rename Card. According to EA’s username page, the first Rename Card is free, more can be bought in the Store with FC Points, and a new card can only be bought once every 30 days. A new name can take up to 30 minutes to show to other players. Because usernames change, always top up with the UID from the Settings screen, not the name on your profile.

FC Points vs Silver vs Coins

FC Mobile has several currencies, but only FC Points and Silver are sold on the product pages.

CurrencyWhat EA says it is forAmounts on the product page
FC PointsPlayer Packs, bundles and other items in the in-game Store40, 100, 520, 1070, 2200, 5750, 12000
SilverExclusive items such as Starpass and Limited Bundles in the in-game Store39, 99, 499, 999, 1999, 4999, 9999
CoinsEarned by playing and by buying and selling Items in the Transfer MarketNot sold

Starpass and Limited Bundles take Silver; Player Packs and regular bundles take FC Points. Check the price of the item you want in the Store first: EA says you open the Store by selecting the green FC Points logo in the top right of the screen, then switch between the Silver and FC Points tabs. The amounts look alike (40 and 39, 100 and 99), so read the item name before you pay.

On Coins, EA’s rules are clear: buying them from a third party is against the rules, and Coin sellers ask for your login, which puts the account at risk of being stolen.

Pick the Product Page for Your Account Region

FC Mobile is sold on three product pages with the same 14 items:

Product pageFor
EA SPORTS FC MobileIndonesian accounts
EA SPORTS FC Mobile MYMalaysia region accounts
EA SPORTS FC Mobile PHPhilippines region accounts

The MY and PH pages state that items from those pages can only be delivered to Malaysia or Philippines region accounts. EA’s own official Web Store also asks buyers to choose a region before picking an offer.

This guide covers the international version of EA SPORTS FC Mobile from EA. FC Mobile VN is a separate app from a different publisher, Vietnam Esports and Entertainment, according to its App Store listing. Vietnam is also not on the list of countries with access to online stores on EA’s help pages, while Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand are.

How to Top Up FC Points and Silver with Your UID

On the FC Mobile top up page for Indonesian accounts:

  1. Copy your UID from the Settings screen.
  2. Paste it into the User ID field, with no spaces at the start or end.
  3. Choose FC Points or Silver and the amount.
  4. Complete the payment.
  5. Once the payment is confirmed, the order is processed automatically. Check your game inbox.

FC Points or Silver Not Received

According to EA’s help page on FC Points and Silver, currency bought through the Web Store or a payment website outside the game is sent to your account and can be found in your game inbox. EA also says that payment problems, or FC Points and Silver that do not show up after you pay, are handled by the customer support of the platform you paid on. Check in this order:

  1. Open your game inbox instead of only looking at the balance in the Store.
  2. Compare the invoice UID with the Settings screen UID, digit by digit.
  3. Make sure the product page you used matches your account region.
  4. If the invoice is marked paid but nothing has arrived, contact the store’s customer support with your invoice number.

Items delivered to the wrong UID cannot be pulled back, so check the UID before you pay.

An account that is not linked plays as a Guest. According to EA’s save progress guide, a Guest account is only saved on the phone or tablet it was created on. On another page EA notes that if you delete the app before linking, your username, game progress and past purchases will be lost. To link your account:

  1. Open Settings in FC Mobile.
  2. Under Account Management, select Link Accounts.
  3. On Android, choose EA Account, Google Play, LINE or Facebook. On iOS, the options are EA Account, Facebook, Game Center, LINE or Apple Account.

A linked account can be played on multiple devices, moved to a new device and recovered if progress is lost. EA also gives two one-time rewards: one for linking Facebook, Google Play, Game Center, LINE or an Apple Account, and one for linking an EA Account. Players below the minimum age of digital consent in their country can only play as a Guest.

Never share your Facebook, Google Play or Apple login. EA says it will never ask for your password, and a UID top up does not need it either. New features this season, such as Game Plans and Gauntlet mode, are covered in our FC Mobile 27 update guide.
