Wild Rift Top Up with Riot ID: Find Your Tagline, Region, Wild Cores
A League of Legends: Wild Rift top up only needs your full Riot ID including the tagline, in the format GameName#Tagline. No password is required, and your Riot login username is not your Riot ID. The most reliable place to check your Riot ID is your Riot Account page at account.riotgames.com. Then pick the product for your account’s region, because Wild Cores for Indonesian, Malaysian and Philippine accounts are sold on separate pages. Everything below is based on Riot Games’ official support pages, checked as of 4 November 2026.
What a Riot ID and Tagline Are in Wild Rift
According to Riot’s Riot ID FAQ, the Riot ID is your universal ID across all Riot games, including Wild Rift, VALORANT and League of Legends on PC. It has two parts separated by a hash sign:

Game Names are not unique, so the tagline is what separates your account from others with the same name. A Riot ID without the tagline is not enough to identify an account. Riot also states clearly that your Riot ID is not the login name you type to sign in.
How to Find Your Wild Rift Riot ID on the Riot Account Page
Riot does not spell out where the Riot ID sits on every Wild Rift screen. Its Riot ID transition FAQ only says most games show just the Game Name above your champion, with the full Riot ID shown elsewhere. So the name above your champion may not be the full Riot ID. The reliable source is your Riot Account page:
- Open account.riotgames.com in a browser on your phone or laptop.
- Sign in with the same method you use for Wild Rift. Riot says Google, Apple and Facebook sign-in are available on desktop, alongside a Riot username and password.
- The first box on the account page holds your Riot ID and Tagline.
- Copy both parts, including the
#, and paste them into the Riot ID field when you top up.
If you have more than one account, make sure the one you opened is the account you want to fill. Riot IDs can be changed for free once every 90 days and the change applies to every Riot game, so if you just changed yours, top up with the new one.
Pick the Product That Matches Your Account Region
On its Southeast Asia payment methods page for Wild Rift, Riot says the payment options available to you depend on the region of residence registered on your Riot Account, and that this region also decides which shard you play on. Riot also says the Wild Core store shows content and currencies specific to your account’s location. On the store’s product pages, Wild Cores are split by region:

The MY and PH pages state that Cores bought there only go to accounts in that region. For an account registered in Indonesia, use the standard Wild Rift page.
Riot also notes that a new account is assigned to a server group at first login based on your IP address, and the Americas and the rest of the world (Europe and Asia) cannot be swapped later. Turn off any VPN for that first login.
Wild Cores Packs and the Wild Pass Math
Wild Cores are the only paid currency in Wild Rift, the equivalent of RP in League of Legends on PC. The product pages list the same six packs for Indonesian, Malaysian and Philippine accounts: 425, 1000, 1850, 3275, 4800 and 10000 Wild Cores.
According to Riot’s official Wild Pass and Mini Pass page, the current Wild Pass runs from 22 September 2026, 07:00 WIB (08:00 Malaysia and Singapore time) until 3 December 2026, 06:59 WIB (07:59 Malaysia and Singapore time), featuring Pencil Sharpener Kog’Maw and Movie Director Ryze. The Christmas Reindeer Smolder Mini Pass is scheduled to start on 3 December 2026 at 07:00 WIB (08:00 Malaysia and Singapore time). Riot notes the dates can change. Subtract the Wild Cores you already have first. Skin prices depend on rarity, so check the Skins tab of the in-game store.
How to Top Up Wild Cores with Your Riot ID
The flow on the Wild Rift top up page:
- Copy your full Riot ID from the Riot Account page.
- Paste it into the Riot ID field, including the
#and the tagline, with no spaces at the start or end. - Choose a Wild Cores pack.
- Complete the payment.
- Once the payment is confirmed, the Cores are processed automatically.

Wild Cores Not Showing Up After a Top Up
Riot has an official note for this case: Wild Cores bought through web payment while the Wild Rift app is open may not show up right away. The fix from Riot’s missing Wild Cores page:
- Log out of Wild Rift, then log back in.
- Compare the Riot ID on your invoice with the one on your Riot Account page, including letters, numbers and the tagline.
- Make sure your account region matches the product page you used.
- If the invoice is paid but the Cores are still missing, contact customer support with your invoice number.
Cores sent to another Riot ID cannot be pulled back.
Bought the Wrong Skin, or Want to Send a Gift
Under Wild Rift’s refund policy, content can be refunded if it is unused, was bought no more than 14 days ago, and is on the refundable list, such as champions, skins, recalls, baubles and emotes. The Wild Pass, Wild Pass levels, bundles, randomized chests and gifts cannot be refunded.
To send a skin through the gifting feature, Riot sets three limits: both players must be at least account level 15, you must have been friends for at least 2 weeks, and you can send up to 2 gifts in 24 hours.
