A Free Fire diamond top up needs one number: your Player ID, which the game labels UID on your profile card. Copy it, paste it into the Player ID field of a top-up form, confirm that the nickname matches, choose an amount and pay. You never need to give your password, a verification code or your login. The steps are the same for Free Fire and Free Fire MAX. Everything below was checked against Garena’s official guides on October 21, 2026.

How to Find Your Free Fire Player ID

Garena Indonesia’s official help centre shows how to check your Player ID and nickname (in Indonesian, with screenshots):

  1. In the lobby, tap your profile banner (avatar and nickname) in the top-left corner.
  2. The PROFILE page opens on the GALLERY tab. On the right is your profile card with your nickname, your account region right below it (Indonesia in Garena’s example) and your level.
  3. In the bottom-right corner of the card is a number labelled UID with a copy icon. Garena marks this number as the Player ID.
  4. Tap the copy icon so no digits get swapped, then paste it into the top-up form.

So the in-game UID and the Player ID on a top-up form are the same number. Free Fire has no Zone ID or server number like Mobile Legends: the form has a single field. For other games, see how to find your user ID before a top up.

Player ID in Free Fire MAX

Garena’s official Player ID guide for top ups uses Free Fire MAX screenshots, and the flow is identical: tap the profile banner at the top left of the lobby (“Press to enter the personal page”), open PROFILE, then copy the UID on your profile card. Garena says Free Fire MAX players can play with everyone on Free Fire through its Firelink technology. One caveat from Garena’s help centre: Guest accounts are not linked between Free Fire and Free Fire MAX. If you still play as a Guest, copy the UID from the app you actually use, and bind your account first.

How to Top Up Free Fire Diamonds with Player ID

The Free Fire top-up page on ItemGame is the Indonesia store, priced in rupiah. It asks only for your Player ID plus an email for the invoice:

  1. Paste your Player ID into the Enter Player ID field. Numbers only, no spaces.
  2. Confirm the nickname. Since October 21, 2026, once the Player ID is filled in, the form looks up the account and shows a Confirm Account window with the Username. Make sure it matches the nickname on your profile card exactly, because it cannot be changed after payment. If you see Account Not Found instead, a digit is wrong.
  3. Choose an amount under Top Up (Diamonds) or Membership.
  4. Choose a payment method: QRIS, e-wallets (DANA, OVO, ShopeePay, LinkAja), virtual accounts at 12 Indonesian banks including BRI, BNI, Mandiri, BSI, Permata and CIMB Niaga, or cash at Indomaret and Alfamart.
  5. Enter your email. The invoice and payment receipt go there; the phone number is optional.
  6. Tap Order Now, review the Confirm Order window, then pay as instructed. Orders are processed automatically once the payment is confirmed, usually within a few minutes.

Choosing a Pack: Diamonds, Weekly or Monthly Membership

As of October 21, 2026, the product page lists 62 active Free Fire items:

Membership diamonds do not arrive all at once: you claim them yourself in the game, and according to Garena Indonesia’s help centre the daily claim resets at 02:00. Diamonds also pay for the Booyah Pass; this month’s rewards are listed in our Free Fire Booyah Pass October 2026 guide.

How to Check Your Free Fire Diamonds Arrived

  1. Open the invoice or your order history and make sure the status is paid.
  2. Open Free Fire and check which account is logged in: the UID on your profile card must match the Player ID you entered.
  3. Look at the diamond count in the top bar of the lobby, next to your gold coins. If the game was already open before you paid, close and reopen it.
  4. For memberships, check the status in game and claim the daily diamonds.

Top-up products are made per server: items for the Malaysia server, for example, do not reach accounts on the Indonesia server or any other. Diamonds delivered to another account cannot be pulled back, so check the nickname before you pay.

Garena’s guide for diamonds that have not arrived after payment lists five steps: make sure the payment shows as successful, make sure the Player ID is correct, keep your proof of purchase, wait up to 1x24 hours because delays sometimes happen, then contact the store where you topped up. If you file a ticket with Garena, log in with the same account you topped up.

Never request a refund on a transaction that went through: Garena treats it as a violation and bans the account temporarily until a penalty is paid.

Account Safety: Top Up Without a Password

  • Your Player ID is enough. The official Free Fire FAQ says never to share passwords or login information with anyone.
  • Ignore free diamond offers. Garena warns players not to trust websites or social media apps that promise free items.
  • Watch out for red diamonds. Garena Indonesia says a negative (red) diamond balance appears after a refund request or a top up through an illegal method or merchant. Clearing it means topping up that many diamonds, which Garena keeps as compensation.
  • Bind your Guest account. A lost Guest account, after changing phones or uninstalling, cannot be recovered. Tap the settings icon at the top right of the lobby, choose Basic, then tap Bind to Facebook, Google, VK or Twitter. Add a recovery email too.

FAQ

Do I need a password to top up Free Fire diamonds? No. A top up only needs your Player ID. Requests for a password, verification code or account login are a warning sign.

What is the difference between UID and Player ID in Free Fire? None. The profile card labels the number UID, while top-up forms call it Player ID.

Can I top up Free Fire MAX with the same Player ID? Yes, as long as you log in with the same account in both apps. Guest accounts are not linked between Free Fire and Free Fire MAX, so copy the UID from the app you play on.

How long do Free Fire diamonds take to arrive? Usually a few minutes after the payment is confirmed, since orders are processed automatically 24 hours a day. If the status is paid but the diamonds are missing, contact the store’s support with the invoice number.
