How to Buy LoL RP on PC in Indonesia: In-Client or Riot ID Top Up
There are two ways to add RP to a League of Legends PC account in Indonesia or Malaysia: buy it directly with the Purchase RP button in the client Store, or top up with your Riot ID through a top up store, with no code and no password. Physical vouchers are not the main route: the official terms of the Riot Games Gift Card in Southeast Asia only cover VALORANT and Legends of Runeterra. Below are the steps for both, the SEA region rules, and how to match RP amounts to skin prices.
Before You Buy RP: Check Your Server and Riot ID
Indonesian and Malaysian accounts now play on the SEA server
Since January 9, 2025, the Thailand, Philippines and Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia servers have been merged into a single Southeast Asia (SEA) server. According to Riot’s official announcement, your remaining RP moved with your account, and you still pay for RP in the same local currency you used on your old server. RP purchases are also disabled temporarily during patch downtime.
Vietnam is different: it runs on its own shard, and Riot routes all its payments through the VNG Web Store.

Your Riot ID is not your login name
A Riot ID top up needs your full Riot ID: your name and tagline separated by a hash sign, for example YourName#1234. Riot’s rules: the Game Name is 3 to 16 characters and the tagline is 3 to 5 alphanumeric characters. Your Riot ID is not the username you log in with, so do not mix them up.

Method 1: Buy RP Directly in the League of Legends Client
These steps follow Riot Support’s RP purchase guides:
- Log in to the League of Legends client with the account you want to top up.
- Open the Store, then click Purchase RP.
- Choose one of the available payment methods.
- Pick an RP bundle and complete the payment.
- Keep the transaction ID as proof.
For the Asia Pacific region, Riot lists credit or debit cards, PayPal, digital wallets (for example GrabPay and Touch ‘n Go), carrier billing, and prepaid cards or codes. Not every method is available in every country; the options shown at checkout are the ones that apply to your account.
If a transaction completes but no RP arrives, send a ticket to Riot Player Support.
Method 2: Top Up LoL PC RP With Your Riot ID
This suits you if you want to pay with QRIS, a local e-wallet or a retail outlet. Here is how it works on the League of Legends PC RP top up page on ItemGame:
- Enter your full Riot ID, including the tagline, in the Riot ID field.
- Choose an amount: 575, 1380, 2800, 4500, 6500 or 13500 RP.
- Choose a payment method: QRIS, e-wallets (DANA, OVO, ShopeePay, LinkAja), bank virtual account, or Alfamart and Indomaret.
- Enter the email address that should receive the invoice, then pay.
- Once payment is confirmed, the RP arrives automatically. Check the balance at the top right of the client, and restart the client if nothing has changed.
There is no code to redeem: the RP goes straight to the account that owns the Riot ID. The pages are split by account country (Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines), and the Malaysia and Philippines pages state that their RP only works for accounts in that region. Malaysian players should use the LoL PC RP top up page for Malaysia, which takes DuitNow QR, e-wallets such as Touch ‘n Go eWallet and GrabPay, or cash at 7-Eleven.
Can You Use a Voucher or a Riot Code?
Riot separates two kinds of codes on its Prepaid Cards, Cash Codes, & Content Codes page:

For players in Southeast Asia, the terms of the Riot Games Gift Card say it buys currency for VALORANT and Legends of Runeterra. League of Legends is not listed, so for LoL RP use method 1 or method 2. A cash code from another region triggers the message This Code is Not Valid in Your Region. Got a Riot Code from an event? Redeem it in the client via Store, the Account button (profile icon with a gear) at the top right, then Redeem Codes and Submit.
Pick an RP Amount That Matches Skin Prices
Riot publishes the skin price tiers for the SEA server. Here they are with the smallest single amount that covers each:

575 RP alone covers no tier, but it tops up a balance: 800 RP plus 575 RP makes 1375 RP, enough for an Epic skin. Bundle and event pass prices vary, so check the Store first.
Tips for Buying LoL RP Safely
- Never hand over your password. Riot never asks for account details to give out RP, so a “free RP” offer that wants your login is almost certainly a scam.
- Check your Riot ID and tagline twice. RP that has been sent to another account cannot be pulled back.
- Avoid patch downtime, when RP purchases are disabled temporarily.
- Bought the wrong skin? Riot’s refund policy allows refunds on unused champions and skins within 14 days, plus up to 3 refund tokens for eligible content up to 90 days after purchase. Bundles, event passes and gifts are not refundable.
- Keep your invoice or transaction ID until the RP actually shows up in the client.

FAQ
How long does RP take to arrive after a Riot ID top up? Usually a few minutes after the payment is confirmed. For redeemed cash codes, Riot says the currency normally arrives instantly but can take up to 24 hours.
Does a LoL RP top up need my password or login email? No. Your full Riot ID with the tagline is enough. Do not give your Riot password to anyone.
Can LoL PC RP be used in Wild Rift or VALORANT? No. RP is the currency for League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics on PC. Wild Rift uses Wild Cores, and VALORANT uses VALORANT Points (VP).
I have an old LoL account from the Garena era. Can I still top it up? Only if it was linked to a Riot account. In a June 2025 Riot Support article, Riot said linking into the SEA servers is no longer supported and unlinked accounts are lost for good, so an account that was never linked means starting a new Riot account.
