Layla’s Collector skin “Prismatic Rhythm” is free in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang through the Layla’s Stellar Gala event, running from Friday 9 October to Thursday 19 November 2026. You collect Stellar Cores from event tasks to fill a progress bar until the skin unlocks, and the Starfall Breakout mini-game speeds that up. Moonton’s official material only describes this free route and never mentions a Diamond price. As of 20 October you have 31 calendar days left, counting 19 November.

How to Get Layla’s Collector Skin Free, Step by Step

This order follows the “How to Unlock Reward” graphic in the official post of 8 October:

  1. Log in every day to claim Starfall Challenge Tickets.
  2. Open Layla’s Stellar Gala and start the challenge.
  3. Do the tasks. In the official October events preview video, the task screen has two tabs, Regular Tasks and Challenge Task, under the caption “Complete tasks to collect Stellar Cores”.
  4. Fill the progress bar. The same video calls it “purification progress”; Stellar Cores build it up until Layla’s skin can be claimed for free.
  5. Complete the collection for a free exclusive achievement. The guide draws this as a separate path from the Stellar Core route to the skin.

Official material does not say how many Stellar Cores the skin needs or whether there is a daily cap. Advance Server point figures that circulated before the event opened were never confirmed by Moonton, so go by the numbers in the event tab.

Where Stellar Cores Come From

Moonton’s posts name three sources:

  • Event tasks (18 October): “Complete tasks to fill the progress bar.”
  • Starfall Breakout challenge tasks (19 October): completing them earns Stellar Cores and unlocks the skin faster.
  • High scores and the leaderboard (10 October): chasing high scores and climbing the leaderboard also earns Stellar Cores.

How many Stellar Cores each source gives is not stated. Since challenge tickets come from daily logins, the most useful habit is to open the game every day until 19 November, even if only to claim the ticket and clear your tasks.

How to Play Starfall Breakout

Starfall Breakout is a side-scrolling shooter inside the event. The official guide of 8 October sets out the rules:

ElementOfficial rule
MovementDrag Layla to dodge meteors
AttackLayla fires automatically
ScoreDestroy meteors to earn points
Lives3 lives; every meteor hit costs HP
Stellar BlasterCollect Stellar Energy to charge it, then fire it to clear the screen in one shot
Power-up Orbs16 buff types: attack, attack speed, or survivability
WavesThe longer you last, the tougher it gets
RankingsWeekly leaderboard with Friends List and Overall Ranking tabs

Meteor types shown in the guide: Common Meteor, Swift Meteor, Giant Meteor, Accelerated Meteor, Starcore Meteor, and Magma Wall.

High Score Tips from the Official Guide

  1. Save the Stellar Blaster for crowded moments. The guide says to use it when meteors are dense or a Magma Wall appears.
  2. Hit the Magma Wall’s core first. Magma Walls cannot be dodged, so do not waste time looking for a gap.
  3. Stack Power-up Orbs before the hard waves. Orbs raise attack, attack speed, or survivability, and the waves get harder over time.
  4. Watch for special meteors. The guide tells you to change your route quickly when one appears, because every hit takes one of your three lives.

What the Layla Prismatic Rhythm Skin Includes

The official Layla “Prismatic Rhythm” skin video of 6 October shows:

  • Hair that changes color. The video shows four gems (blue, yellow, red, green), each with a matching hair color. An official post on 3 October confirms Layla’s hair “really changes color”, but how you switch it is not explained.
  • New skill effects on Malefic Bomb, Void Projectile, and Destruction Rush.
  • A Battle Emote, Random Idle Animation, and Random Movement Animation made for this skin.
  • A Collector 10th badge and the team role caption “Team Morale Leader” on the skin intro screen.

Can You Buy Layla’s Collector Skin with Diamonds?

As of 20 October, no official material lists a Diamond price for this skin. Every announcement from 27 September to 19 October only describes the free event route. Moonton has not announced a rerun after 19 November either, and the 27 September post calls it a “rare 10th-anniversary exclusive”. If you want it, finish before the deadline.

Several other free events end before this one; the dates are in our list of MLBB free skins still running and the free Aspirant token guide. For players on Indonesian servers who want Diamonds for paid skins in the same period, Mobile Legends Diamonds on ItemGame only need your User ID and Zone ID; see how to find your game User ID first.
