The October 2026 Starlight skin in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is Hayabusa “Kitsune’s Shadow”, available from Thursday, October 1, 2026 with a 300 Diamond Starlight Membership. October is also when Moonton starts upgrading Starlight skins with a more refined display background and exclusive skill sound effects. Who Is the October 2026 Starlight Hero?
It is Hayabusa. The official October StarLight Perks video, posted on September 27, shows Hayabusa in a fox (kitsune) mask wielding an ice-blue blade, with the caption “October Starlight Perks, only 300” next to a Diamond icon. The video description says the October Starlight exclusive skin, Hayabusa “Kitsune’s Shadow”, will be available on 10/01, which is October 1. Moonton did not give a release time, so go by the moment your Starlight menu switches over to October.

The Starlight Upgrade Starting in October 2026
According to the official video description, Starlight skins get two upgrades from October:
- A more refined display background. The skin display screen has been reworked. In the video, Hayabusa stands in front of a large swirl of light under the caption “Skin Display Background Upgrade”.
- Exclusive skill sound effects. Hayabusa “Kitsune’s Shadow” has its own skill sounds instead of the hero’s default audio.
Moonton has not said whether older Starlight skins receive these upgrades. For now, treat them as features of new Starlight skins from October 2026 onward.
The Painted Skin: Hayabusa “Kitsune’s Phantom”
The same video reveals a painted variant called Hayabusa “Kitsune’s Phantom”, with a purple palette and white hair. Two captions appear on screen: “Level Up Starlight, Obtain Painted Skin” and “October Exclusive Painted Skin, only 100 diamonds for Starlight members”. In other words, the painted skin is tied to your Starlight level and is offered for 100 Diamonds to Starlight members only. If you want both the main skin and the painted skin, the math is 300 + 100 = 400 Diamonds.
Starlight Shop, Starlight Chest and the Weekly Diamond Pass
Beyond the monthly membership, the official video highlights a few other Starlight features:
- Starlight Shop: a limited-time Starlight Pack uses 50 Starlight Fragments for a chance at exclusive Starlight items. Selected older Starlight skins return, and there is an exclusive kill notification.
- Starlight Chest: buy it for Starlight rewards, with a Starlight card guaranteed within 50 attempts.
- Weekly Diamond Pass: buying the pass gives bonus Starlight points, and you can claim daily Diamonds and Starlight points. The video also mentions opening chests for Starlight Fragments.
October 2026 Exquisite Collection: Sun “Celestial Rebel”
For the October Exquisite Collection, Moonton picked Sun “Celestial Rebel”, the third giant mecha suit skin in the Titans series. According to the official skill showcase, it arrives on October 1. Moonton highlights:
- Sun’s Golden Staff is mechanized and extends or retracts as he swings it.
- His skills summon a mecha version of his Doppelganger.
- The skill effects, including the ultimate, hide small gear details.

Moonton says the Titans mecha lineup is complete with Sun. The event mechanics and Diamond cost for Sun are not spelled out in the official videos, so open the Exquisite Collection tab in game on October 1 before you set aside a large amount of Diamonds.
The Aspirants on October 9: Obsidia and Selena
The Aspirants series is back with two new skins. The official cinematic trailer Day of Enders ends with the line “Available on 10/09”, which means October 9, 2026:
- Obsidia “Imperatrix Arashi”, introduced as the mastermind behind The Enders.
- Selena “Silverbolt Raiko”, who appears in a school uniform in the trailer’s story.
Two older Aspirants skins, Angela “Cyber Cherubin” and Ruby “Mecha Maiden”, have been back for a limited time since September 16. As of September 30, the official videos have not said how to get the two new skins or what they cost.
