The Aspirants 2026 skins in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are Obsidia “Imperatrix Arashi” and Selena “Silverbolt Raiko”, and both arrive on Friday, October 9, 2026. The date comes from the official New Skins | The Aspirants Series video posted on October 3 on the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang YouTube channel, which also previews the skill effects, animations, and emotes of both skins. What Moonton had not announced as of Sunday, October 4: the price and the event format. Below is everything official so far, plus how last year’s Aspirants skins were sold.
When Do the Aspirants 2026 Skins Release?
The video description says the skins “will arrive on 10/09” and the end card reads “Available on 10/09”, which means October 9, 2026. No release time was given, so watch for The Aspirants event tab in your account. Moonton has released these materials on its official channel so far:

Obsidia “Imperatrix Arashi”: An Evolving Mecha Form
According to the video description, Obsidia transforms into a commander of The Enders in this skin and unlocks a mecha suit form in battle. The gameplay footage shows a pink and violet skill arena with crystal shards, and one screen places four versions of Obsidia side by side with the caption “Reach the required tiers to gradually unlock new mecha form and weapon evolution”. In other words, her mecha form and weapon evolve step by step once certain tiers are reached. Moonton has not explained what counts toward those tiers, such as draws or event points.
This is Obsidia’s first Aspirants skin. She joined the game on September 17, 2025 as the Project NEXT 2025 hero titled Sovereign of Dark’s End, and the official Mobile Legends website describes her as a Marksman with extremely high single-target basic attack output.
Selena “Silverbolt Raiko”: A Mechanical Hound Joins Her
The video description says Selena summons a mechanical hound that charges across the battlefield in an all-new look. Her footage is dominated by blue and violet effects. In the Day of Enders trailer, Selena watches the chaos from a rooftop in her school uniform, smiling, her loyalties left unclear.
Animations and Emotes
The same video compares both skins side by side across four extra elements: Idle Animation, Interactive Animation, Random Action, and Battle Emote.
The Story: Obsidia Behind The Enders
This year the two new skins stand on opposite sides. The Day of Enders description says the crisis in the Singularity is far from over and that Obsidia quietly reveals herself as the mastermind behind The Enders. The group already appeared in the 2024 animation Rekindled Light, where their assault destroyed the Selrick research base and Lesley disappeared.
The Endgame trailer says the rise and fall of civilizations, and even Selena’s birth, were only moves on Obsidia’s chessboard. The Gambit trailer answers from Selena’s side: created, controlled, and cast aside, she still crossed the entire chessboard on her own terms to reclaim her freedom. The September 30 short ends with a direct question to players: whose side are you on?
How Much Will the Aspirants 2026 Skins Cost?
There is no official number yet. As of October 4, neither the videos nor the official Mobile Legends website mention a price, a draw count, or an event name for Obsidia and Selena. The closest reference is last year’s event in the official 2025 Aspirants guide:

A similar format was used when the Chang’e and Lesley Aspirants skins returned from June 18 to July 24, 2025: 50% off the first daily draw and first 10x draw, plus an unowned Epic or higher skin every 10 draws. There is no guarantee Moonton will reuse this format, especially since Obsidia’s skin adds a new tier evolution system. Last year’s materials did not list a price per draw either, so the exact cost will only be visible once the event opens.

The series now has 10 skins, and older ones return for limited periods: Layla, Fanny, Ruby, and Angela came back from July 31, 2024, and Angela and Ruby returned again from September 16, 2026.
October 9 Is Also Gala Weekend Day One
The new skins launch alongside the Anniversary Gala Weekend. The official Exciting October Events video lists the Gala Weekend for October 9 to 11: log in for a new animated emote, complete matches (as few as one), then choose from 265 skins. Layla’s Stellar Gala also starts that day (October 9 to November 19), where you collect Stellar Cores to unlock Layla’s Collector skin “Prismatic Rhythm” for free. How to Prepare Before October 9
- Wait for the event tab before budgeting diamonds. The price, discounts, and Obsidia’s tier requirements are only confirmed once the event is live in the game.
- Do not count on the draw guarantee for an Aspirants skin. In the 2025 event, the Epic skin guarantee from the first 10 draws excluded the Guinevere and Vexana skins.
- Use the daily discount if the format repeats. Last year the first 1x draw each day was 50% off, so spreading draws across several days stretched diamonds further.
