TLID are back on top at 10-3 after a 2-0 win over Alter Ego, while NAVI (9-3) saw a six-match winning streak end in a 1-2 loss to ONIC. Week 8 starts on Thursday, 8 October with NAVI vs TLID at 20.00 WIB (21.00 SGT/MYT/PHT), and the playoffs run from 4 to 8 November at Jatim Expo Surabaya. Week 7 Talking Points
TLID lost 1-2 to Dewa United: they took game 1 in 10 minutes 12 seconds, then Dewa won two games on kill counts of 14-5 and 14-3. On 4 October TLID swept Alter Ego, with jungler Kevin posting a combined 11/2/13 on Nolan.
NAVI beat Alter Ego 2-1 on 3 October for a sixth straight win since 30 August, with jungler Joshuaa going 13/0/6 on Nolan in game 1. ONIC ended the streak a day later: a 12-1 kill count in game 1, a loss in game 2, then Kairi’s 10/1/3 on Hirara to close it out. ONIC climbed to fifth.
Alter Ego have lost three in a row. The team’s core played for Indonesia in the Asian Games MLBB final on 1 October, which Myanmar won 4-0 (see our Asian Games 2026 esports medal table). AE then lost to NAVI and TLID but are still third.
Bigetron by Vitality, the MPL ID S17 champions, beat Geek Fam and RRQ Hoshi 2-1 after five straight losses. That was RRQ’s sixth loss in a row, but they beat EVOS 2-1 on 4 October for their first win since 30 August. Geek Fam beat Dewa 2-1, opening with Week 7’s longest game (25:54).

MPL ID S18 Playoff Race: What Each Team Needs
The top six make the playoffs. We checked all 131,072 outcomes of the 17 remaining matches, assuming every tie on points is lost.
- Clinched: TLID and NAVI. Only four other teams can still reach 10 wins. NAVI are safe because ONIC and Dewa cannot both reach 9 wins: they still play each other on 17 October.
- Alter Ego clinch with a win over BTR on Thursday.
- BTR clinch by beating AE (Thursday) and Dewa (Sunday).
- EVOS clinch by beating Dewa, ONIC and Geek Fam this week.
- TLID lock a top-two finish (and a Round 2 start in the playoffs) by beating NAVI and RRQ.
- Geek Fam are eliminated if they lose to EVOS on Sunday, 11 October.
- RRQ Hoshi are eliminated if they lose to TLID (Friday) and ONIC (Sunday). Dewa can also go out by losing all three, depending on other results. ONIC and EVOS cannot be eliminated this week.
